Thank You Sandy

Sandy, the ministry dog, has spent her whole life in service to others. This was a chance for the community to show her how  much her work mattered.

This cake is dog friendly. A treat for Sandy on her retirement.

Of course Sandy needed a cake to share with her human family, so this one done as a chocolate cake (a no-no for dogs) with raspberry filling

Centennial Window

We were privileged to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the celebration for the installation of the new Centennial Window at our church. We created 3 cakes. The first, and largest, was the image of the new window itself, while the two smaller cakes had images of the two altar side windows. All images were edible as were the pearls which decorated the quilted sides.

Church Anniversary

Our Biggest project yet. Three hexagonal tiers. All buttercream icing with edible images of the Church's stained glass windows. On the tops of the two larger tiers were the MCC logo and a pencil sketch of the church building. The smallest tier had an acrylic, commemorative topper. The base and header corner pieces were fondant with white chocolate crosses on the top tier.

Happy 60th

Happy 60th Anniversary for my mom and dad. This is a yellow cake, with butter cream icing, edible photos, and gum paste orchids. The Orchids steal the show (Dave did them).
