 Done for lunch after the service on Palm Sunday. The technique here is a stencil.

Celebrating Palm Sunday

 

 A cake celebrating Palm Sunday. To commemorate the day a stencil of Da Vinci's "Last Supper" was used to emblazon an image on top. The cake was lemon with lemon filling and buttercream icing.

 

Birthday Stencil

This is our first attempt using a stenciling technique. It is actually black buttercream icing applied with a stencil applique.

We think it turned out very well, and there are hundreds of stencils from which to choose.

This is a lemon cake with lemon curd filling, and buttercream icing.
